A truly unique dark, rich timber and stainless steel kitchen for a new family home in Primrose Hill, North London.

The kitchen cabinetry along the wall is crafted from rich sapele wood, offering warmth and depth and also pays homage to the existing sapele timber staircase which sits alongside the new kitchen.

This contrasts with the monolithic yet elegant stainless steel island that anchors the space. The island is highly functional incorporating concealed sapele drawers, ample storage and integrated power outlets to help maintain the kitchen’s understated, clean aesthetic. Linear lighting above enhances the natural textures and materials, while a soft glow from the sapele upstand LED strip adds warmth and atmosphere.

Working with DF_DC Architects as part of their wider renovation project, the warmth of the sapele and stainless steel kitchen is designed to complement the polished concrete floor and exposed white ceiling beams.
