Ma-kon created an expansive warm timber kitchen as part of a wider extension and refurbishment project within a rural family home in Northumberland.
The clients ambition was to create a functional yet sociable kitchen space where family and friends can easily cook, gather and relax together, and the layout provides this with a functional worktop and storage wall alongside a central island to cook and entertain.

To add warmth to the kitchen we chose a calm yet characterful material palette of steamed beech kitchen cabinetry and display shelf with honed limestone worktop.
