Getting To Know You Meet Up

Following on from our initial conversation we’ll arrange a first getting to know you meet up with you, either in person at your home or via online video call, subject to location.

We believe kitchens are spaces to be lived in and enjoyed, and so we take time in our first meet up to gain a full understanding of how you live and the things you like, to help us make the most of opportunities within your new kitchen.

During this first meet up we can chat through the unique aspects of your custom-made kitchen, outline key aspirations and discuss any project inspiration together that you might have gathered to date from Pinterest, magazines or places you’ve visited. We will also make arrangements to measure your kitchen space in preparation for the next stage of design.

Kitchen Design

With a clear understanding of your kitchen space, how you live and what you are looking to achieve we’ll get to work creating a new kitchen design for you, this will include;

— 2D layout plans and elevations of the kitchen design; these drawings incorporate cabinets, drawer locations, worktops, ironmongery and appliances along with the surrounding space and room details for context.

— 3D colour visualisation views of the kitchen. These are the way we explore material and fixture options and also consider the atmosphere of both natural and artificial light sources within the kitchen design.

— Material finishes; along with physical samples for you to see and feel, we create a small tailored document that outlines key proposed materials, finishes along with appliance and fixture specifications. We treat this like a shopping list to discuss and adapt as we develop the designs together further.

From our first getting to know you visit, the design stage will typically take 4–6 weeks to complete. We will arrange for design meetings to discuss the designs together, which we tailor to you and the unique needs of the project.

Making Your Kitchen

With design, material choices and cost estimates approved we make your kitchen. Everything we make is unique and it’s all defined by quality and precision, whether by machining or hand crafting.

Our skilled team work with the best materials, from hand-selected woods to bespoke metalwork and natural stones, to create kitchens that are unique and lasting. We manufacture from locations in Sheffield and London, allowing us to realise kitchen projects across the UK efficiently whilst minimising our impact on the environment.

Our kitchens typically take 10-12 weeks to manufacture; throughout the making journey we’ll keep you informed of the kitchen progress with photos and updates and we’ll confirm a delivery and kitchen installation date.
